Vintage Map Art

Every piece begins with a genuine original map — Ordnance Survey Tourist Maps, Geographia touring maps, Bartholomew regional maps, and antique pocket maps dating back to the Victorian era. None are reproductions. Some are folded into three-dimensional origami squares or tricorne shapes; others are framed exactly as originally printed, worn edges and all. Because every piece uses a real, physical map, no two are identical.

Frequently asked questions

Are these original maps, or printed reproductions?
Every piece is made from a genuine original map. We don't use scans, prints, or reproductions.
Can I commission a map of a specific place?
Yes — many of our map pieces are made to order using a map of a location you choose, such as a hometown, a favourite walking area, or somewhere with family significance.
What's the difference between the folded and framed pieces?
Some maps are cut and folded into 3D origami modules, creating a textured, semi-abstract version of the original. Others are framed flat and whole, so the complete map stays legible. Both use entirely original material.
