Forty-eight individually folded tricorne origami modules, cut from an original 1960s Bartholomew map of Tyneside on canvas. The modules have been rearranged but stay in their correct overall grid position, creating a distorted but readable version of the original map. Handmade in our own framing workshop: a 58cm x 40cm wooden box frame, stained and finished in metallic copper. A one-off piece, ideal for anyone with a connection to Tyneside or the North East.
